This assessment requires you to develop and persuasively present an innovative idea for any type of entrepreneurial venture (i.e. independent, family, corporate, indigenous or social). You must present this information as a filmed 8- to 10-minute presentation.

TASK

Outline your innovative idea or venture using design thinking principles / steps. (4 minutes)

Elaborate on why your idea represents innovation and a business opportunity (2 minutes)

Argue how you plan to manage the weaknesses and threats you have identified. (1 minute)

Critically evaluate the literature on entrepreneurship and identify two potential barriers to the success of your venture. (1 minute)
