Mark (4.3years) with mild Cerebral Palsy has been attending your service for 18 months and is currently enrolled in your 3-5 room.
When he first started attending his enrolment form stated that he has an inclusion support worker that comes in once a week, and he attends therapy sessions once a month.
From your observations on Mark, you know he is interested in dinosaurs, enjoys listening to music and does attempt some movements when dancing with the children. He can often be seen in the home corner playing with kitchen equipment and enjoys cooking with other children.
He is developing his mobility and at times need support to move from one place to another.
Mark is developing his skills at completing tasks independently. Mark will turn away from educators or children, become upset or give up at times if he is unable to complete a task independently.
His mother has confided to you that she has recently separated from Marks father and there is now a parenting order in place to prevent his father from collecting him from the service.
