All workers who work in the health and community services sector have a legal and ethical responsibility and duty of care to protect the safety of clients and meet organisational policies and procedures. It is important you have a good understanding of each of the areas and are able to identify what is the organisations responsibility, what is your responsibility and the consequences of breaches.
