Family Family is important to me because my family is giving continuous encouragement in my career to advance and achieve higher goals. My family is also responsible for my emotional stability.

Equity All healthcare services should be accessible and available to all patients, regardless of their social, economic, or cultural backgrounds. It is important to me because inequalities in healthcare can have a negative impact on peoples health.

Professionalism To deliver healthcare services ethically, competently, and in accordance with high standards of practice, one must act competently. What skill sets do you plan on improving in the next six months to one year?

Leadership skills- I want to improve my leadership abilities by looking for a mentor to get proper guidance in leadership, participating in leadership development courses, and taking on more responsibility in my existing position or volunteer organization.

Communication skills- I plan to improve my communication skills by practicing active listening, taking public speaking courses, seeking feedback from colleagues, and using technology to enhance communication channels.

Health Information Management Skills- I have decided to improve my abilities in health information management by participating in training sessions, remaining current with industry trends and advancements, and looking for opportunities to put my newfound knowledge into practice.

Problem-solving Skills- I want to develop my problem-solving abilities by looking for challenging projects or tasks, regularly reflecting on my actions, and asking my coworkers for advice on how to solve problems.

Good decision-making Skills- I plan to improve my decision-making skills by practicing critical thinking, seeking input from colleagues and stakeholders, and regularly reflecting on past decisions to identify areas for improvement.

What tools or strategies do you plan on using to develop these skills?

Leadership skills-

Seek out mentorship- The mentorship will help me to improve my leadership qualities by gaining guidance from an experienced person in leadership areas.

Participate in leadership development courses- the courses will be beneficial to me for enhancing my leadership skills and advancing my career.

Asking for feedback from co-workers- The feedback will help me to improve my skills and knowledge.

Communication skills-

Practice active listening- Active listening is very important in effective communication. I will practice improving my active listening skills by paying close attention to the speaker and by observing non-verbal clues to take note of every little piece of information regarding the topic.

Taking public speaking courses- Public speaking is one of the challenging areas I need to improve. I will take a public speaking course to enhance my skills in public speaking.
