Assessment Context and Description
Resourcing involves attracting and selecting individuals for the right role at the right time and cost. Those engaged in resourcing activities should focus on understanding the candidate experience, designing effective assessment and selection approaches and the necessary documentation to make an effective recruitment decision.
In the light of the above context, curate a compilation of resourcing documentation in the form of (1) a job advertisement, (2) a job description, (3) person specification, (4) a competency framework and (5) interview preparation form for a particular role of your choice in any industry. All of these documents should be presented as an appendix.
Students are required to prepare a Recruitment Statement justifying and explaining the role/purpose of each document and comparing the resources to a different organisation, sector, or country context. The recruitment statement and, by extension, the recruitment pack (the 5 documents) must include elements and evidence of consideration and integration of diversity and inclusion in resourcing decisions and practices.

The UK labour market and organisations have witnessed dramatic hiring challenges in the light of the UK Brexit, the Covid-19 pandemic, changing immigration and employment laws and the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. As a talent management consultant, your organisation hires you to:
Analyse UK labour market trends and HR planning challenges in your sector. o Assess your organisation's talent planning and recruitment, selection, and retention activities.
Identify the reasons why employees leave and develop HR strategies for employee retention in your organisation.
Design an outline resourcing and talent management strategy by considering the business environment and labour market.
Specifically, you are required to assess global trends, diversity and inclusion themes and Industry 4.0 concerning your organisation's strategic plan. Your organisation will require advice.
You should prepare a report focusing on these four (4) items listed above faced by your organisation.
