To prepare for this online clinical case quiz, research your chosen topic using the approved resources listed in the task summary and in the eReading list at the top of the BIOH12011 Moodle page. Collate your notes about your chosen topic using the template provided in part 1, and attempt the practice online case study quiz to familiarise yourself with how the case study will be presented prior to completing the assessed quiz. Theonline quiz consists of anauthentic clinical case study with ten (10) multiple choice questionsthat relate to the information provided to assess your understanding of the underlying pathophysiology and pharmacology related to your chosen topic. As you progess through the case study you will be provided with the following information: clinical presentation, patient history, physical examination and test results, pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment.
Please note:
You need to complete the quiz to receive the information about your patient, however, you do not have to pass this section of the assessment to pass the assessment task overall.
Take notes about your patient as you progress through the case study, as this will be important in answering the specific questions about your patient for the written component.
