Assignment Description
For an international organisation of your choice, identify and evaluate the issues which have historically, and may in the future, impact upon, and influence the internationalisation efforts of that organisation.
The content of your assignment should cover the following aspects: -
An overview of the organisation and justification of your selection of that organisation.
A demonstrated understanding of the definition of an international business and internationalisation strategies.
An evaluation of how both the macro and microenvironment has, and may, influence the internationalisation efforts of that organisation.
For example, how have socio cultural, political, legal, economic, or environmental differences between countries influenced the internationalisation efforts by the organisation.
It is important to justify all views/opinions made within the evaluation with reference to relevant academic theory.
A conclusion detailing the key findings from the evaluation.
Students must read widely and deeply to ensure their knowledge and understanding is comprehensive. The course reading list is an important starting point in this regard and the resources and articles referenced during each week of the module.
