Task 1:
As a cloud administrator you are responsible for holistic administration of cloud resources including security of cloud infrastructure. In certain cloud deployments, organizations neglect the need to protect the virtualized environments, data, data center and network, considering their infrastructure is inherently more secure than traditional IT environments.
As a cloud administrator you are expected to complete the following tasks
- You are suggested to do an individual research collecting information related to security risks and vulnerabilities associated with cloud computing in terms of data security, data center security, virtualization security and network security.(30 Marks)
- A comprehensive report providing description of mitigation plan and how these security risks and vulnerabilities can be addressed. (30 Marks) Note:- Students are expected complete the above tasks in all aspects with relevant sourcesof information duly acknowledged appropriately with in-text citations and bibliography.(1200-1250 words)(60 Marks)
Task 2:
Cloud service architectures fulfil the needs of a particular organization based on their specific requirements, oflate many service architecture have been innovated and conceptualized by the researchers. As cloud administrators it is very important to holistically review these cloud service models, you are advised to review a journal article or conference publication of a reputed conference like IEEE, Springer, Elsevier or any Scopus or SCI indexed publication that is related to cloud computing service architectures, and its use in specific organization. The students are advised to paste at least the first 3 pages of publication as an image in their assignment task clearly showing the abstract and publication information and then write the review with critical reflections, observations, and commentary.(250-300 words)(40 Marks)
