Assignment Background: In Chapter 13, you learned about the three regimes of employment law, discipline policies and different approaches to managing discipline and the privacy rights of employees. This assignment will reflect your understanding of the reading and lecture material and demonstrate your ability to communicate your ideas and report on relevant information related to the theory.
Assignment Details:
PART 1:
You are in charge! For all remaining assignments this semester for  you are to imagine and create your own business. Each assignment will be linked to this business that you develop.Describe of your business, where it would be located (approximate geographic area), key positions you would need to help you run the business (e.g. accounting staff, operations, HR, front line workers, etc.), who your customers would be (your target market) and finally the company name and why you think this is a viable business opportunity! Be as creative and innovative as you can! This business is the foundation for all future assignments this semester.
PART 2: Using critical thinking outline three disciplinary problems you might encounter within your business (HINT: Figure 13.6 in the chapter outlines some common issues). Discuss why these problems might be issues for your particular business model.
PART 3: Write company guidelines (you might call these rules or policies) to mitigate these issues and outline how and when these will be communicated to your employees. 
PART 4: Outline the discipline process you will use should the guidelines not be followed. HINT: The chapter outlines approaches to discipline that will guide you.Assignment submission: All assignments are to be submitted to the Assignment folder inLate assignments will be penalized 20% per calendar day up to 3 days after which a mark of zero will be assigned and it will not be accepted. “LATE” is defined at 12:00am and each subsequent 24-hour period thereafter for 3 days.
