The Assignment Tasks
This Assignment was developed to assess elements of the following Learning Outcomes:
Research and critically evaluate the graduate job market, as well as skills, qualities and behaviours prized by employers, distinguishing between different sectors and enterprises.
Analyse own employability competencies and career management skills, recognise career opportunities open to Business Management graduates and outline own future development either in employment or enterprise.
Critically reflect on employability-related skills and competencies developed in a Business Management degree, including data analytics and visualisation skills, as well as transferrable skills such as teamwork and communication.
Recognise the purpose and process of different selection procedures including interviews and assessment centres and identify and prepare strategies for effective self-presentation (e.g. at interview).
Reflective report on Employability Skills 100 Marks
The reflective Employability report consists of a 1,000 word [+/- 10%] reflective report plus appropriate appendices.
You are asked to submit evidence of your career development thinking and understanding as part of the Module, with particular focus on your LSBU Career Survey undertaken throughout the module. Please use the headings below to frame your reflection and add your evidence in a list of labelled appendices.
