Commercial air transport is a multimillion-pound industry which includes wide range of business and operational approaches. These include operating large aircraft such as 500 seat A380s to small single seater aircraft which serve remote regions of the planet. This assignment is intended to provide window of understanding related to specific operational areas in aviation industry.
Tasks to be undertaken:
1. Develop an understanding of the Airline operation concepts in terms of hub operations and point to point operations.
2. Analyse the important factors related to Airline pricing strategies that include the demand trends for air travel, deciding and agreed on the routes and types of classes to offer to customers.
3. Identify and evaluate approaches of market segmentation for Airline passengers and the retention strategies to ensure developing loyalty of the passengers.
