Your response is to be on the provided template written as a cohesive paper with an introduction, body, and conclusion.
The body of your paper is to cover:
Outline of the crime type.
What does it involve? Who does it affect? Examples of offence/s/behaviours.
Why is it a contemporary issue?
Outline at least two challenges and issues this crime type presents (e.g. for law enforcement, governments, international organisations such as the UN).
Outline your case study.
When did it occur? Where in the world? Who was involved? What happened?
Why is it a good contemporary example of the crime type?
Hypothetical response (~500 words).
Develop an evidence based response to address your crime type. You have unlimited resources and cooperation from agencies.
You need to explain who will do what, what powers they have (or you will give them), and who will be in charge (what is the basis of their authority?).
The response needs to be holistic covering how to:
prevent or reduce instances;
educate the public; and
minimise impact.
You must use your resources to formulate and support the hypothetical response.
