Final Assignment Brief
General Instructions Please read these instructions carefully
You are required to complete the assignment outlined below and submit your completed final document through the RKC Online Campus by the end of Unit 6. Your grade will be based on a 3,000 word portfolio that includes evidence of a combination of the activities you have undertaken in the module.
The portfolio should be presented as ONE document made up of a number of sections. It should be presented formally with a title page, an abstract, and a contents page. The portfolio can include figures, tables and quotations (all of which do not count towards the word count).
The portfolio should include the following three activities:
Forum Contributions (15%)
Include a log of all the contributions you have made to the forum. Your contributions should be included in a table labelled according to each unit and the forum task(s). You can include your contributions as a screen shot of your posts or you can cut and paste these from the forum. This table is not included in the word count, but it evidences your engagement with the materials in each of the units. You will be awarded 5% of the marks based on your contribution to each of the six units.

Ethics Essay (75%)
Question Scenario:
A policy is under consideration in the legislative body in the nation of New Queendom where 1% of the population would be forced to live and work as slaves in a manufacturing facility to produce computer chips. Proponents of this policy argue that if enacted into law, it would result in lower prices for desktop consumers in New Queendom. They argue that it would also likely result in the happiness of 99% of the population who are not enslaved, because they would be able to purchase computer-based appliances (mobile phones, computers, tablets etc) at much lower prices and lead to inventions that would benefit mankind. This means that 99% of the population will benefit at the expense of the remaining 1%.
You are the CEO of a computer manufacturing company your competitors are supporting this law and lobbying the government to introduce it. What would your ethical position be?

3 Essay: Ethics (75%)
For this piece of work, you will draw on the theory of ethics. You must apply the Utilitarian, Universalist, Justice and Virtue ethics approach to the ethical dilemma presented in the case. In your description make sure you clearly identify who the stakeholders are that might be impacted in the decision you are making. Make sure you conclude by highlighting the ethical decision/position you would take and the approach you would adopt. (2500 words)

Support your reasoning on the ethical dilemma presented using the four ethics approaches required Utilitarian, Universalist, Justice and Virtu with the literature. Present each approach clearly and apply the theoretical approach to the case presented. To allow you to practice presenting to a different audience, show your presentation skills, and apply some of the learning in a work-related context so you can see where theory and practice come together.
