Task:
Using the same group of students from Assignment 1, design a sequence of 5 teaching activities that address a curriculum/syllabus element from your teaching context (eg K-10 school syllabus, CSWE, ELICOS outcome). This sequence should clearly focus on teaching elements/aspects of particular macro skills, integrating, recycling, and extending the language. Within your discussion, justify your choice with reference to a particular approach to language teaching, with reference to your intended learners, and drawing on academic readings.
Ensure you:
- identify your learners briefly: you do not need to repeat Assignment 1.
- identify the curriculum elements you are teaching and specifically what you hope to address in the 5 activities (learning outcome/s)
- foreground the methodology you will use and why this is appropriate to the learners provide a summary of each activity as a pdf insert to the text (explained in class): do NOT write a lesson plan. analyse the activities, highlighting the skill/s and the language element/s you will teach justify how each activity supports the methodology that you identified and why they are offered in this sequence.
- construct your discussion in a clear and coherent manner, with strong links to readings from the subject.
