Question 1:
Jenny: Hi Rose, thanks for calling to notify me about your requirements during this rather busy moment as it is for me.
Rose: Yes, it has been tough indeed, I replied softly, my emotions welcoming within me and my eyes glistening with the tears I dared not shed. I just miss James.
Jenny: All I could utter was, I cannot even begin to fathom how difficult this must be for you, as we all miss James a lot.
Rose: The one that I believe the family would say most is that they wanted more to be done to save the patient.
Jenny: I get your point. It is important to emphasize that we agreed with James request and aimed to make him feel as comfortable as possible. It was very courageous and considerate of you to make that decision. undefined
Rose: Naturally, until this day I am a guilty man.
Jenny: It is okay to have such thoughts but I wanted you to know that you showed respect to his incoming to his decision. If there is more to discuss or anything you may need I and/or we are here for you.
Rose: Yes, Jenny. You are right, it was good to hear him say that. Just seeing him suffer was very painful.
Jenny: Yeah Rose It is a bad feeling to sit and see your close friend or family suffer but James was very clear on what he wanted and you let him endure what he wanted to experience which in my view is being caring.
Rose: He has often said that he did not wish to be a burden to others and I think he feared the reality of being a burden than anything.
Jenny: James did not want a painful death and you understood that; you ensured that you ensured his wish of a painless death was granted.
Rose: There are many thinking such as what if there was another way?
Jenny: As much as one can easily look back and question his or her actions, it is equally important to know that there was no way one could have done more for James. For James, you fought for him at a time he could not fight for himself.
Rose: Her voice trailed off at the last word and seeing it James simply nodded his head in agreement Youre probably right, but it still isnt quite real yet.
Jenny: Well, grief is a process and its unique It is okay to feel like you do. You can go through Jamess items at your own pace and if you need to stop for a while or talk to someone, please dont worry. We are here for you.
Rose: Thank you, Jenny. It feels good to know that I am not alone.
Jenny: As you should also be aware that you are not alone in this, Rose; we are all with you and if there is information that you want to give or if there is something that we can help you to do during this period, we are at your disposal.
Rose: I will. Thanks again, Jenny.
Jenny: Goodbye, Rose. All the same, remember that I am always around and you can feel free to call me any time.
Question 2
Subject: Request for Meeting to Discuss Ethical Matter
Dear Frank,
Allow me to start this email and tell you that I am currently in good health and I hope that the same is with you as well unless, of course, your response gave me an indication to the contrary. The objective of writing this letter is to request a meeting over an ethical dilemma that was experienced in the recent past with Rose, who is the wife of the late Mr. James. We had a discussion wherein several questions that, in my view, should be pursued to adhere to the policies and ethical standards of Banksia Care, were mentioned.
Rose described some severe and, maybe, suspicious moments of Jamess treatment and her concern and regret. Although I educated her on Jamess preferences for burial as much as I complained, I will ensure to involve other caregivers to assist me in disputing our procedures and ensure that the assistance provided to the families of the bereaved is within the set program and ethical principles.
Taking into account the topic of discussion, I do believe that it is pertinent to address this question right now. Specifically, I would like to discuss the following points:
1.Review of the conversation: A conversation with Rose to sensitively review the sections that may suggest that there were occasions where enhanced communication or coordination might have been necessary.
2.Adherence to Policies: Ensuring all the actions performed comply with the DC SD1 Code of Ethics, DC3 Privacy and Confidentiality Policy and Procedure, and the SE8 Code of Conduct Policy and Procedure.
3.Support for Bereaved Family Members: Evaluating the current processes and the type of support that is provided to families of the deceased patients, whether the support offered can be enhanced in some or other ways.
4.Training and Guidance: Informing the management about the need to provide more training or coaching for our personnel, to enable them to handle such sensitive matters.
It would be preferred if you could let me know of the most convenient time that we can get together shortly. I want to ensure that we do not compromise on this matter and be up to the standard of Banksia Care services as per the ethics required.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
Kind regards,
Jenny

Question 3
Jenny: Good morning, sir, Josh. Frank said he wanted me and the team to clear the storeroom and have it cleaned before the next two hours.
Josh: The second is that the patient has verbal aggression together with complaining, such as I hate doing this kind of stuff. Cant you do it yourself?
Jenny: Please, dont misunderstand me its not one of my favorites but lets do it for safety and for the efficient flow of working, having a neat storeroom I went on explaining If its clean and well-organized everyone will be able to find what they need and will not risk an accident; if you and I, do it, it will also be done much quicker and we will be free to do other things.
Josh: Okay, What must I do personally for you?
Jenny: Sure, thank you next time, could you help me move the heavier items Some of the boxes here are too heavy and difficult for me to manage alone? Yes, let us start by sorting out the items and the areas where they are supposed to be; items we can keep, items that we must dispose of, items we are not sure about, and we put all the -Gray area items for Frank to review later?
Josh: Okay, lets get it done. Ling said the moment she overheard the worst name any student could ever receive at school.
Jenny: Great thanks a lot, lets start with this shelf over there, once we do that, we will have more space to transport the items around. When lifting something please do it gently using your legs and not your back muscles. If you ever feel bored with all these changes, please dont hesitate to let me know.
Josh: Thanks for reminding me, I will be careful. You do not think there will be something useful or interesting in here for us?
Jenny: Maybe there are things that we always thought were lost or something that can be used over again; its really like a treasure hunt sometimes. Later it will be easy to look for some materials and other things and you never know you might even get something that will make the whole task more fun.
Josh: Alright, alright you have convinced me now there should be something we can find to sort this place out.
Jenny: "Thats the spirit! Lets get started."
Question 4
Subject: Request for Meeting to Discuss Work Task Difficulties
Dear Frank,
I hope you are well.
I would like to kindly request a personal meeting with you because in the recent task, I was assigned together with Josh to clean the storeroom, I encountered some problems. Last but not least, it is crucial to disclose the cases observed during the work; indeed, there were some critical moments at one point, we decided not to perform this task; If we may resume the observations, it will be easy to improve the cooperation in the future.
The process demonstrated that before the task, Josh had no interest and had negative feelings towards it, and thus the formulation of the negative attitude during the execution of the task. Although we were able to do the work as instructed some moments were tense even when they did not have to be that way if people followed instructions appropriately.
In my opinion, it would be right to address these issues with the view of developing strategies that would be useful in improving relations and collaboration among workers. All of us should be able to be motivated and voluntary to undertake tasks required and appropriate in the roles that we have been assigned within the given context.
If possible, we can decide on a certain meeting to meet on the specific topic and to address the problem in the long run. With your help, I still think it must be possible to look for ways in which we could enhance the work you do on group projects and ensure that subsequent projects are not started with animosity from the team members.
I kindly request you to suggest one or more convenient time slots that we could use for meetings. I have to remember this so that we do not start living an unhealthy way of doing this but we look for a solution that can be solved for everyone.
Thank you for your attention to this issue. I look forward to your response.
Kind regards,
Jenny
