Based on your experience during the placement; and your area of interest, write a report clearly outlining two potential ideas for research projects. You will be required to explain the reasons why you have chosen these topics and show how they can be of benefit to the placement organisation. One of these ideas will become the foundation for your final Business Research Project at the end of your course.
Step 1:
Identifytwo ideasfor potential research projects. These ideas should be based on areas of challenge or opportunity that you have identified during your placement. For example: it could relate to an improvement of a business process, a new way of attracting customers, a specific activity that could be introduced, enhancing employee satisfaction etc. The aim is for the proposed project to add some benefit to the organisation.
Step 2:
Now create your report outlining each idea separately. The report should be written in paragraph format. You should use different paragraphs for different sections, and you can create sub-headings as required. In-text citations should be in Harvard format.
Components of the report:
Title:

Introduction:
- Clear and concise statements of the two ideas.
- Brief background highlighting the problems/opportunities that inspired the ideas.

Reflection:
- Include a short paragraph addressing how these proposed projects could contribute to your learning. What have you learned from this placement so far and what additional knowledge would you gain from these projects?

- Summarise the points outlined in the report.
