There are many research discussions that will be looked at and will unfold as a result of the research that will be worth pursuing. The key questions that will be looked at during this research is;
1. Is there a difference between the laws as they relate to the health and safety requirements of companies in Victoria and those in other states with respect to ensuring that companies provide a safe environment for those with mental health issues?
2. Is the law adequate in handling issues of ensuring that companies guarantee work activities and methods do not cause undue distress among employees and do everything within reason to protect the mental health of employees.
3. Has there been a difference in the number of workplace incidents and injuries as a result of the introduction of Safe Work Australia compared to when the industry was managed by the states individually; what has changed and are Australian workplaces safer since the creation of Safe Work Australia?
4. What are the legal responsibilities of organizations in terms of providing a safe working environment free from bullying and harassment?
5. Are companies liable if it is found that bulling and harassment in the workforce has exacerbated the mental health issues being experienced by an individual in the workforce?
