The services provided in the hospitals include surgery, rehabilitation, paediatrics, orthopaedics, oncology, mental health facilities, and childbirth and parenting education. HL employs approximately 15,000 people in a range of professions and occupations on a full-time, part time and casual basis. You are in the process of reviewing HLs reward and remuneration practices. A key issue requiring analysis is the impact of supply and demand on the attraction and retention of employees. This analysis requires you to identify: Two jobs most likely to be impacted by the level of supply and demand in the relevant labour market; and Two jobs least likely to be impacted by the level of supply and demand in the relevant labour market. In both cases above explain your reasoning for identification of the jobs and what actions you will take to attract and retain employees in those jobs.
Part B You are a trade union official for one of the unions that has coverage of HLs employees.
