Assignment 2Course: Healthcare Management
For this assignment, you are tasked with preparing a comprehensive literature review outline of a specific research area. The chosen area should be under-researched, and a meta-analysis or literature review should not exist in the population group, location, setting, or topic that you have chosen.
The essay should include the following five sections, each with its own subheading, to guide the content:
1. Introduction: Provide an overview of the topic area and the purpose of the literature review. Include
a clear and concise rationale for why this area was chosen and why a literature review is needed.
2. Research question: Formulate a clear and concise research question that will guide the literature
review. This question should reflect the main objectives of the review and be specific enough to
allow for the identification of relevant research articles.
3. Search strategy: Describe the search strategy used to locate relevant research articles. This should
include the databases and sources searched, the keywords used, and any restrictions or
inclusion/exclusion criteria applied.
4. Results of the search: Document the results of the search, including the number of articles located
and the reasons for inclusion or exclusion of articles. The results should be clearly presented in a
table or other suitable format.
5. Key themes: Highlight the key themes emerging from the research articles located. This should
include a synthesis of the main findings and a discussion of the strengths and limitations of the
existing research. The key themes should be presented in a clear and concise manner, using
appropriate terminology and referencing relevant literature.
It is recommended that you narrow your search to between 6-12 research articles, using your
inclusion/exclusion criteria, such as date, geography, and population, to do so. The essay should be written in a clear, concise, and scientific manner, using appropriate terminology and referencing relevant literature.
The results of the search and the key themes should be clearly documented and presented in a structured and organized manner
