Maria is a 82 year old woman.

She has presented to her local health clinic for a check of her health status.

She recently underwent a bone density test and has been diagnosed with osteoporosis.

She has a past medical history of rheumatoid arthritis, and trauma following a motor vehicle accident 2 years ago in which she suffered a right tibial fracture.

She has ongoing weakness in her right leg and problems with her balance as a complication of the motor vehicle accident. She is mostly inactive and spends large amounts of time indoors. Her BMI is in the overweight range. Her BP is slightly elevated.

She has required long term use of corticosteroids for management of her rheumatoid arthritis

He experiences shortness of breath and is limited in his walking to 20m before needing to rest because of shortness of breath.

One week ago he had a skin cancer removed from his left arm.
