The project is for an industrial engineering operations course, it´s basically a paper´s review where we must give a recommendation for the propose. This paper has a FlexSim model on it and we want to recreate it with a few little changes.

The model is a DBR simulation with 3 machines, 3 queues and one source (as in Image 1.) This contemplates a system where the machines start in Idle, then when a task arrives, goes to a set up time, then starts processing and then a close – down, if during the close –down the system gets another task it will go to processing again and if it doesn´t, it will go to idle (Look at the image below).

The simulation that we need to get done is something like this.

Here in image 2 are the starting parameters for the simulation.

That’s for the first part.
Now, for the results, we need to run a few simulations changing one parameter in each for the machine number 3 except for the interarrival time that is a parameter for the whole system so you´d need to change that parameter in the source (It’s the first row in image 4).

What we want is to study the effect of the parameters on the throughput, the parameters for the machines 1 and 2 remain always the same. In total we need to change 6 variables one by one, so we would need 6 result graphics, each with 15 runs for every number that the variable takes. (Just like in Image 3).

For recap, it would be 6 graphics, with the changing variable going from a starting point to an ending one, and 15 runs in each. The results parameters that will be changing are detailed in the Image 4

Result example.

Please remember that the first parameter is about the source and not the machine 3. Hope everything is super clear but if you have any questions don´t doubt on asking, I'll leave you my email just in case. We need the simulation for Wednesday May 24th tops, and for the payment we can use PayPal or another money transfer platform.

I´ll be pending on your answer, hope that you can help us... it would be super helpful for us.
