James Maloney Nursing Case Study

Assignment Task:

James Maloney was 16 when he first developed severe abdominal pain with associated diarrhoea and some blood in stools. This was intermittently occurring, and he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. His condition has not been well controlled since and now at age 24 James will undergo a laparoscopic right hemicolectomy to remove the diseased portion of his bowel.
