Learning Portfolio Structure
Learning Portfolio Structure
The way you structure the portfolio has been deliberately left up to you. You can present it as creatively as you like but it does have to be in a word document that is readable by Turnitin.
You have been provided with the word count: 600 per topic. This does not include the cover page, contents page or list of references.
You are required to use six articles: scholarly, grey reports or web based articles to support your news report or article.
A simple learning portfolio structure is as follows:
1. Cover page
2. Table of contents
3. Introduction introduce your portfolio and your topics
4. Topic 1 (name the module from the teaching period)
a. Why you selected it
b. Article or news story introduction and why you selected it. Summary of the article a synopsis very brief. Include a link to the article/news story here.
c. In discussing the scenario or event presented in the article what went wrong in terms of HR practice -supported by research.
d. Explanation/recommendations on what would have prevented the situation from occurring supported by research.
5. Topic 2 as per above
6. Topic 3 as per above
7. Topic 4 - as per above
8. Topic 5 - as per above
9. Concluding comments a self-reflection on what you learned from this process.
10. List of references
Please note: this is your own research and reflection. Please do not use AI applications or platforms to do it for you!
