Introduction & Rationale
Under the Coronavirus Act 2020, considering the government guidelines and benefits of our students, Bath Spa University has turned into virtual university. All our classroom-based exams are changed to alternative assessments that cover the same learning outcomes as the original exams.
Assessment Brief
OPEN BOOK EXAM
There are 4 questions in the exam. Each question carries 25 marks and contains a few sub-questions. All the questions are compulsory. The word limit maximum 150 words is applied to each question. The work involves both theory and numerical practice.
Students may use calculators, Excels or other software or devices to work on these questions. The final submission must be in one Word file with professional/formal presentation.
The Work will be released to students via VLE under Assessment. Students have 24 hours to finish the exam. There will be no further extension granted from the module leader. Students right to apply for Mitigating Circumstances is not affected.
Marks are awarded SOLELY to the answers on the submitted Word file.
Academic Misconduct
The submitted work must be students own and original work. The guideline of Bath Spa University unfair practice policy is given in the below link.
