Write a short reflective essay of 1500 words (+/-20%) on Professional Learning Societies and Professional Organisations for biomedical engineers and their role in enhancing clinical practise and biomedical engineers' career prospects. In your essay you need to discuss on the following topics:
- Introduction to the problem. In your discussion, you need to explain why there are Learning Societies and Professional Organisations and how they help biomedical engineers in the real world.
- What does IPEM do and how it can help me in my future career in biomedical engineering? CPD scheme.
- British Learning Societies and Professional Organisations in the area of biomedical engineering, e.g., British Medical Ultrasound Society, British Nuclear Medicine Society, PMG, IET, IMechE, etc.
