1.Quality

Definition:

In the case of a commercial building, quality may also mean going above and beyond in terms of the hospital building's design and functionality. Quality also refers to satisfying client needs and surpassing their expectations.

Goals - The primary objective is to build a safe and functional building within the $100 MN budget within the specified timeline which can meet the patients and medical staff requirement.

Realities Quality construction is typically paid for by building owners since it will ultimately result in lower repair and maintenance costs. In real world, the customers expects new designs, the newest fixtures and furniture, automated and high tech equipment for improved utility, and more space when they engage in construction projects. Therefore, as a project team we will ensure that our quality parameters comprises all of these and is offered at a lower cost, along with after-sale services, such as maintenance, in the case of a Hospital building construction project.

Alignments and Enhancements - In this construction project, team can decide on outsourcing few of the tasks and activities to improve the efficiency of the project cost and project duration. Team will also analyses latest technology e.g. BIM Software to design the 3D Model, control cost and project secluding etc. It will also improve the overall project quality in terms of design, safety, cost and timely management of resources.

Transformation(s) Project team will ensure that we start many transformation projects to reduce the cost and timely completion of the project from the target budget and target date. Innovation will be tag line for the project team in all the aspects of project.

Measurements: - Project quality can be measured by designing the KPI (Key Performance indicators) which will be part of all review meeting, and circulated as dashboard, Team will try to use the benchmark from industry for quality standards from Hospital Industry. Qualitative data like standard and norms by Govt, and other competitors will used and for Quantitative data Cost numbers , purchase data, Utility impact etc., no of beds , no of patients which can be cured are few of the data which can be used for measuring the performance of the building.

2. Multi-Factor Productivity

Definition: The total efficiency with which labor and capital inputs are combined during the production process is reflected in multifactor productivity, or MFP. The effects of shifting management techniques, brand names, organizational transformation, general knowledge, network effects, production factor spillovers, imperfect competition, and economies of scale and adjustment costs, measurement errors are all reflected in changes in MFP (OECD, 2022).

Goals The MFP is calculated as output divided by combined input (U S Bureau of Labor and Statitics, n.d.), and its purpose is to determine the yield for construction of Hospital building.

Realities To produce the desired results, the project will adhere to all applicable fire, water, and other major government regulations for commercial buildings.

Measurements: Quantitative data will be used to analyze all input resource costs, such as labor costs, machine costs, energy consumption and material cost etc. The building's market value will be used as the output value vs input cost to gauge the outcome.

3. Material Logistics

Definition: - Material logistics is avoiding double handling and breakage, two major causes of waste in construction, proper material logistics management could help minimize and mitigate waste (Saheed O. Ajayi, 2018). Other aspects of proper material logistics management could include appropriate material handling and storage, the use of appropriate materials, and efficient material delivery.

Goals - Key goal in material Logistic to minimize the wastages and reduce the cost of material procurement and timely supply

Alignments and Enhancements - There are a number of regulations, including international supply chain regulation, government taxation, and import regulations for inputs to be imported from other nations. Different material supply routes for various storage spaces and production lines are specified by the Material Logistics module.
The three types of lifecycles that the system supports are: creating a Transfer Order for a Transfer Requirement, releasing a Transfer Requirement into a Pick List, and transporting it using a Transfer Order. (Material Logistics, n.d.)

4. Sustainability

Definition: Sustainability in construction project means using recyclable material which can reduce the cost of energy waste and save the environment by using recycle resources. The main goal of sustainable construction is to reduce the environmental effect of construction.

The main aim of this sustainable construction is to ensure that the very less impact on the environment, it promotes using the material, equipments like Solar panels, energy insulation, and energy efficient roof hatches (DEFINITION OF SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION, 2023).

Source: (Designing Building Ltd, 2022)

Goals - Reducing the negative impact on the environment is the main objective of sustainability, and we will make sure to use as much environmentally friendly material and equipment as possible in this project.

Realities Project will ensure that we give or outsource work to those vendors who also believe in sustainability and also measure it as part of their balance score card
Measurements- The various metrics like Project duration, material consumption, return of investment, and use of renewable energy that are used to calculate sustainability

5. Demolition and Reuse

Definition: - The goal of this commercial retail building is to be in use for at least 50 years, after which it may be demolished or repurposed as a hospital, office, or school in the future. (Deconstruction for Reuse, 2024) The process of carefully dismantling buildings to salvage components for recycling and reuse is known as deconstruction or demolition. There are various ways in which demolition can be done, but we should choose the best to reduce the waste and get the recyclable material from there to be used again. Among the many advantages of deconstruction is the optimization of material recovery.

Goals To demolish the hospital building safely.

Alignments and Enhancements - Using explosives to destroy the hospital building's structure supports, the implosive method of demolition causes the structure to collapse. It functions best when demolishing a building or other tall structure. (Building Demolition, n.d.).
