Task Description
As a part of this task, you will be required to create a 15-minute voice thread video presentation.
In this presentation, you will need to reflect on the recruitment/hiring and training process for your internship role. You may discuss the steps involved in the recruitment and selection process and how you were selected for this role. Additionally, you may reflect on the training you have received so far and how it has helped you in your role.
The next part of your presentation should include the creation of three SMART learning objectives for the next three months of your internship. Ensure that your objectives are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time bound. You may consider your job responsibilities and the skills you would like to develop further while creating your objectives.
Finally, you will need to discuss and identify the importance of your role and its impact on the operations of the organisation. You may talk about how your role fits into the overall structure of the organisation and the specific tasks you are responsible for. You may also discuss how your role contributes to achieving the organisation's goals and objectives.

Task Submission
Video voice thread is to be created through the voice thread function on Blackboard under the assessment task and submissions folder. Watch the Tutorial recording for assessment 1 for a detailed explanation of this task.
Special Consideration
Students wishing to request special consideration to extend the due date of an assessment task must submit a Request for Special Consideration form via their MyEnrolment page as early as possible and prior to the original due date for that assessment task, along with any accompanying documents, such as medical certificates.
Late Submissions & Penalties
Except when special consideration is awarded, late submission of assessment tasks will lead automatically to the imposition of a penalty. Penalties will be incurred as soon as the deadline is reached.
