What aspects did you find unexpected and/or which do not currently align? (1-2 paras)

With reference to those aspects that do, and do not, align with your (researched) understanding of best practice, explain your emerging philosophy of teaching (1-2 para) and create a brief plan for how you may develop your own knowledge or skills (1-2 para).
