identifies and evaluates the impact of either one disruptive technology affecting your
organisation. The business functional digital transformation business case must
demonstrate the valid use of concepts learned from this module and include insights
about how your organisation exploits disruptive technology and how you can enhance
organisational performance in this regard through effective leadership and management
skills considering ethical and corporate social responsibility dimensions (refer to leadership
theories and relevant good industry practices in your analysis).
This part of the assignment also requires in-depth demonstration of the application of your
learning on the development of your programme portfolio, documenting the technological
or digital strategy creation process and evidencing your critical exploration of the topic
area.
Appropriate academic and industry sources (Journals, Conference Papers, White papers,
Books, etc.) should be used throughout (and Harvard referenced) to provide evidence of
an in-depth understanding of the area and justification for the decisions taken. Seek to
search for ideas and concepts that help you make your assessment highly specific to your
organisation. Where necessary, use appendices for supporting evidence.
In addition to standard professional business case elements (executive summary,
environmental analysis, organisation problems or opportunities definition, costings/savings
of options, intangible benefits, risk analysis and recommendations) the business can
include the following sections (Mkinen, 2017):

organisation to improve your own personal performance outcomes.

degree apprenticeship and beyond. Consider what forms of leadership you will need to
exercise in the future, and how you can practise and prepare for digital transformation and
operations. This may also include:
To synthesise your plan, you may want to use or consider the following:

have translated those deep self-examination guidelines, which are practical and useful in
your daily decisions. Start by reflecting on what have you learnt about leadership,
technology and strategy from a business perspective that you can use to achieve highly
personal performance outcomes. You might wish to consider the following:
What are the most important concepts and analytical insights in helping you
develop? Why are they important given your personal development within thespecific organisational context you work within?
How can you convert these insights into areas for your personal development, and
how would they link to organisational outcomes? Make sure they are actionable and
realistic, even if challenging.
Consider what feedback you have received from stakeholders and your course
mate. How does it affect your analysis and behaviour?
