This is a scenario-based assignment.
Scenario:
"A national organization's newly constructed facility in Auckland is ready for handover from the contractor. Facility managers are required to develop maintenance strategies based on asset management frameworks commonly applied in New Zealand. The senior leadership team has tasked the FM team to create a report for a suitable maintenance strategy and policy for the new building to achieve long-term operational efficiency in their facilities maintenance operation."
Based on the above scenario, prepare a preliminary report that should discuss the following (Total: ~3000 Words, 100 Marks):
1) Discuss the role of the appropriate maintenance strategy for the newly constructed building.
2) Propose a suitable maintenance strategy and discuss factors to consider when selecting an appropriate one.
3) Discuss the benefits, importance and challenges of post-occupancy evaluation.
4) Identify key performance indicators for maintenance.
5) Discuss the Building Warrant for Fitness.
