Overview You will use your question (or a revision) to write a search strategy and search on databases for a total of six published journal articles that provide the best answer for your question. These six published articles must include at least one article of primary (original) research evidence and at least one systematic review article (secondary evidence). A brief rationale for your chosen question, a justification for search methods, an outline of the search stages and numerical search results will be written into a report. The report will also include a discussion justifying your choice of the two types of evidence that best answer your question relative to the other four articles found.

Assignment 2 is a report on a search for published evidence that builds on your Assignment 1 posting. This assignment is in four sections (detailed below) plus a list of references.

a) use the structured question submitted for Assignment 1 - revised if applicable;

b) find and discuss the six best items of evidence that answer your question – these six best items should include your chosen best items of primary evidence AND your chosen best item of secondary evidence (see detail below);
