describe the following three (3) aspects of professional expectations required of the Registered Nurse:

1. Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) Registered Nurse Standards for Practice (2016)

• Standard 1: Thinks critically and analyses nursing practice;
2. International Council of Nurses (ICN) The Code of Ethics for Nurses (2021)

• Code 2.1: Nurses carry personal responsibility and accountability for ethical nursing practice, and for maintaining competence by engaging in continuous professional development and lifelong learning;

3. Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) Code of Conduct for Nurses (2022)

• Principle 4: Professional behaviour.

You need to utilise evidenced based literature to support your discussion.

For the purposes of this paper, while seminal work (early literature) may be referenced, contemporary literature (from within the last approximately seven years) is a requirement. At least ten (10) credible and relevant references are required in this essay, and most should be research articles (reflecting the higher levels of evidence).
