For the first assessment, you are asked to prepare an annotated power-point presentation onthe topic The COVID-19 pandemic in Europe. Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease has marked2019-2020 all over the world and has therefore been characterised as a pandemic. In thisassessment you are requested to present the COVID-19 epidemic in Europe, including theEuropeanUnion(EU)andEuropean Economic Area (EEA).
This assessment will demonstrate the ability to comprehend and critically appraise coreepidemiological concepts and measures, as well as, to critically examine the role of publichealthsurveillance andthelimitations ofmonitoring data.
