Assessment task details and instructions

In this individual report, you should address the following points:

  1. Introduce the client, the brief, and the project you have undertaken.

  1. Consider what specific challenges did you face in your project brief and how did you address them as a group/individual?

3. What research existed or did you have to undertake significant research to fully understand your business solution for your chosen client?

4. What were the project boundaries (e.g. geography, market, timescale, competitors with similar issues or the same type of business)?

5. Reflecting on the process, what worked/what didnt and what would you do differently next time?

6. Conclusion with supporting recommendations

There should be evidence of a logical and well-structured and professionally presented report with little or no grammatical or spelling errors. Also, good, frequent and consistent use of at least six academic, technical and non-technical references as evidenced through your references.

Please use a formal University report format. Therefore, you should have a title page, contents page, sections and sub sections, page numbers, appendix section etc. Please note if you are uncertain on how to present and structure a report then visit the University library pages on the University website and ask for assistance.

Please try to use theory explicitly at all stages, but do not spend too much time describing a theory. While you must be explicit about the theories, models, techniques etc. that you use, you can assume that the reader is familiar with them. What the reader requires is evidence of your ability to understand and apply the theory and learn from in order to support the development of your findings and/or ideas for your client/brief you have worked towards.

Check any sources of facts you receive from an AI tool as they may not be valid, and this will reduce the credibility of your assessment and reduce your mark.
