Assignment Tasks

Assignment 2 includes: (1) submission of no more than 6 slides in PowerPoint, and (2) oral presentation of these slides at a seminar.

(1) Submission of no more than 6 slides in PowerPoint

Each student is to prepare maximum 6 slides in PowerPoint, which communicate the essential components of your research proposal for conducting your research project in this trimester. These components contain the research aim and objectives, the research methods including data collection and analysis methods, and your research progress so far and timeline for key milestones for completion of the research project. You may also provide a concise summary of research background and key literature in your slides. You should use visual aids to convey your research proposal. The slides should include a good mix of text and diagrams.

Submission of no more than 6 slides in PowerPointis due at8:00pmon Monday,March 27, 2023(AEST) via the Unit site.

(2) Oral presentation of the submitted slides at a seminar

Each student will present your submitted slides in max 5 minutes to your peers and supervisor, followed by discussion in max 5 minutes.

The oral presentation will take place in a usual seminar after the submission due date and will be organised by each supervisor.
