You are to continue in the role of consultant who completed both the feasibility study and the marketing plan for the venue. Some time has passed and the board of trustees of the venue, facing political pressure from the financiers, want to drum up some additional business, extracting more return from the venue. There are people from the local community who, immediately after the holiday season, wanted to join the gym. As fantastic news it was to you, gym-goers have since lost their motivation and are not renewing their monthly membership dues. The cash flow shortfall has understandably left the venue with less funds they were expecting, and the financiers are becoming nervous.

The board of trustees has invited you to design a new service that it will offer to its gym patrons. The objective of the service is to motivate gym-goers to continue their monthly membership dues and to continue to use and enjoy the gymnasium.
Using your knowledge of modules 1-6 as well as wider reading you undertake as part of your research, outline your thinking on the new service. The board will need a short version of your idea so that they can consider and approve it before they present a more fleshed-out version to the financiers. Therefore, your key objective in this assessment is to make the board paper easy for the trustees to understand your idea and, it is hoped, to adopt and secure the funding from the financiers needed to implement it.

Instructions
