OUR TEAM POLICIES:
Outside class, how will we communicate with each other?
We will be using a group chat on Facebook messenger.
How often will we communicate and how long is it reasonable to expect a reply?
We will be communicating 2-3 times a week and a reasonable time to expect a reply is within a day.
Where will our meetings take place (e.g., physical location or virtual)?
We will be having our meetings over Zoom and on-campus whenever it is required to meet in person.
When is it OK to miss a meeting?
It is okay to miss a meeting in case of an emergency.
How do we deal with members who miss a meeting?
Send the member a message on our group chat with an update of what was discussed in the meeting, so they can easily check what they missed out.
How do we deal with members who dont participate enough, participate too much or distract the group from its task?
Initially, put effort into inviting them to participate, otherwise communicate with them about the concern and let them know that they are not participating enough/too much, and let them know they only need to do the work allocated.
What will we do if a group members work doesnt meet our standards?
We will work collectively to try and improve the specific component.
