ASSESSMENT 3: STRATEGIC HRM PLAN FOR AN ORGANISATION
For this assessment, you will need to provide a rationale for the introduction or further development of strategic HRM in your own or another organisation and prepare a detailed plan at a domestic level. Following this, you will consider the contextual factors of IHRM in their chosen country. Finally, you will articulate and justify HR-specific recommendations to support the success of an international expansion of your selected organisation to the identified country are detailed in convincing and innovative ways.
Task
You will create a strategic HRM plan for an organisation. This could be your current organisation, an organisation you worked at before, or one of your interests. After identifying the key HR issues and providing a rationale, you will develop an HR action plan with recommendations for strategic changes. You will also identify the key strategic HRM issues and make recommendations for your organisation's planned international expansion into a selected country.
The following steps will help you complete this assessment:
Analyse the key HR issues that need to be addressed from a strategic perspective. You must engage in observation supported by examples or interviews with an HR manager or other senior managers and describe in priority order, the key strategic HR issues your organisation is facing. (500 words)
