The Future Disruption in Businesses Video There are 2 elements to the assessment. (i) You are to create a 10-minute video presentation on two or three future disruptions in businesses. Within this video you need to discuss the following: 1. What are the future implications of your chosen disruptions in businesses. 2. What mitigation or policies can you suggest overcoming these disruptions. You need to be visible within the video at the beginning and at the end of the video. At minimum total of 2 minutes. (ii) A 250 word reflection piece on Bodyswaps or Energy House to be included at the end of the 10-minute video (please insert as a slide). |

Assessment task details and instructions The Future Disruption in Businesses Video You are to create a 10-minute video presentation on two to three future disruptions in businesses. The disruptions required are the topics we have covered within the module. - Climate Change - Artificial Intelligence - Virtual Reality/Metaverse - Internet of Things - Blockchain - Cloud Computing - Digital Transformation - Energy transition (Sustainability) - Robotics - 3D-Printing - Automation Only choose one business within the video. It can be either in; - Agriculture (Farming) - Car Industry (BMW, Ford or Tesla) - Clothing Industry (High Street Retailer or ASOS, Boohoo, or SHIEN) - Education Establishments (Schools or Universities) - Financial Services (UK Banks) - Health (NHS) - National Rail - Supermarkets (Aldi, Asda, Lidl, Morrisons, Sainsburys, or Tesco) - Technology (Microsoft/Apple) - Sporting Industry (including e-sports) Within this video you need to discuss the following: 1. What are the future implications of your chosen disruptions in your chosen business. 2. What mitigation or policies can you suggest overcoming these disruptions. You need to be visible within the video at the beginning and at the end of the video. At minimum total of 2 minutes. There is an additional 10 marks available for providing a summary of your use of Bodyswaps or visit to Energy House reflecting on theexperience. This is to be inserted on your final slide in your presentation. Details on how to book with dates and times available will be given in the lecture and will be available in the lecture and seminar material on blackboard. You are to write a reflective piece with no more than 250 words. Include the following: 1. How you found the BodySwaps or Energy House 2.0 experience. 2. Reassessment |
If you fail your assessment, and are eligible for reassessment, you will be able to find the date for resubmission on your module site in Blackboard. For students with accepted personal mitigating circumstances for absence/non submission, this will be your replacement assessment attempt. If you fail your assessment, and are eligible for reassessment, you will need to resubmit during the resit period in July 2025.
