Forum1: Analyse key factors that have contributed to the changes in life expectancy globally and with Australia over the two decades.

According to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA 2010a), improvements have led to "lowered infant and child mortality; better nutrition, education, health care, and access to family planning;" and "improved nutrition, education, and access to family planning;" which have all contributed to an increase in life expectancy for the world's population (Blyth et al., 2019). On the other hand, less ischemic heart disease mortality was a major factor in Australia's larger increases in life expectancy beginning in 1980. Life expectancy has increased less quickly since 2003 than in the majority of high income nations, partly because declines in mortality from cancer and cardiovascular disease have halted.

The dramatic gains in life expectancy in industrialized countries over the past century can be attributed in large part to medical advancements and the improved quality of healthcare in recent years. Access to high- quality healthcare is therefore crucial in influencing an individual's life expectancy. It's interesting to note that the impact on life expectancy from preventative treatments and curative treatments is similar. Where hygienic standards rise, life expectancy also rises. Changing societal standards and enhancing sanitation systems may be necessary for hygiene improvements. With the conclusion that we partially inherit our life duration, genetics is another crucial factor in determining an individual's lifespan. Gender is another poorly known element that affects life expectancy; in almost all societies around the world, women live about seven years longer than males (Raleigh, 2019). Moreover, improved food and lifestyle choices are also significant factors in determining life expectancy. There is still debate on the relative importance of the many contributing elements, despite the fact that numerous studies have demonstrated that these factors affect a person's life expectancy.

Forum2: Loneliness is referred to as a common experience among older people which is directly related to the risks to health and negative well-being. As a psychological phenomenon, it has been basically defined as a discrepancy between the actual and desired interpersonal relations. Loneliness is considered a negative and subjective feeling which is associated with the own experience of a person regarding deficient social relations (Gerino et al., 2017). Loneliness might lead to severe consequences that are related to health. Loneliness and social isolation have been related to higher risks for various mental and physical conditions such as heart disease, weakened immune system, cognitive decline, heart disease, Alzheimers disease, obesity and even death. Chronically the individuals who are lonely tend to be high in negative effects, act within a fashion that is drawn socially, lack trust in others as well as safe, feel little control over failure or success and basically be discussed with the relationships compared to the individuals who are not at all (Singh & Misra, 2020). Loneliness is considered as the distressing experience which happens when social relationships of people are perceived by that individual to be much less in quantity and particularly in quality as compared to desired. It has been found from various studies that feeling lonely is not considered a mental health issue but two are linked strongly. Having mental health issues can also maximize the chance of feeling lonely. The mental heal issues that are linked with loneliness are anxiety, low self-esteem, increased stress, sleep issues, depression and many more. Social isolation is considered the major risk factor for functional difficulties in older persons (Wong et al., 2017). Loss of important relationships can lead to emptiness feelings. Loneliness can also be defined as the set of negative emotional states that arises when any subject feels a discrepancy in an unfavorable direction.

Forum3: At some point in their lives, over half of all Australians will struggle with a mental health issue like depression or anxiety. According to statistics, having a mental health issue is fairly frequent. There are many different indications that you may have a mental health issue. It's a good idea to speak with a professional if people have been feeling melancholy, anxious, down, furious, numb, or generally "not yourself" for two weeks or more (Hocking et al., 2018). According to nurses, delivering psychosocial care include giving the patient comprehensive treatment, spiritual care, support for the patient and family members, and empathy. Additionally, communication between nurses, the patient, and family members, as well as communication within the nursing staff, make up psychosocial care.

The diagnostic evaluation of a person's psychopathology serves as the foundation for the use of psychosocial nursing interventions. A few examples of psychosocial therapies are as follows: Through cognitive behavioral treatment, self-monitoring techniques, coping skill development, and problem-solving training, psychosocial management of psychosis is achieved.

Psychosocial nursing interventions: Accept the patients display of dependence as well as their expressions of frustration, rage, sadness, and hatred. Its important to take note of any retreat or denial signs. It is important to recognize the patient's typical reaction to any actual or perceived change in the body's structure or function.

Rationale: Accepting that these feelings are real and that they are a reasonable response to the circumstance is the first step toward finding resolution (Phillips, 2020). It is important to understand that the patient's denial may act as a persistent coping mechanism. If the patient is not prepared to handle personal concerns, do not force him or her to deal with the circumstance. Grief at the loss of a bodily component or function is common. Denial, whose duration may differ amongst patients, may also be a part of this.
