What have I been doing?
I now understand the companies policy which includes the data retention and uses of customers data without compromising sensitive information.
Full fledge understanding of GDPR
I also partook in the project that ensured the migration and consolidation of our data from different excel files into one general file and uploaded into the cloud for accessibility by different departments in the company.
What problems did I encounter?
There was a little challenge during the migration of data into the excel sheet in the cloud as some of this data had data type issue which especially for the fields that had long numeric numbers which were converted into exponential because of the columns in the excel file
How did I solve them?
I was able to solve this with the help of my colleagues by converting the column to a text column in the general excel sheet in the cloud which then allowed us to past this numbers in the real format without converting it to exponential form since we have rendered the column to be a string column
How could I have improved my performance?
In order to stay current with the most recent developments in data management, one should follow industry trends and best practises, as well as participate in webinars and take online courses like Introduction to SQL and Database Systems. I may use this to find new opportunities and best practises to enhance the data management plan for my company.
What did I learn?
With the help of my colleagues i have now learnt SQL and now comfortable with Data manipulation statements(DML), Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Query Language (DQL).
I have also learnt on how to improve my communications skills within and outside the organization by communicating regularly via email

What have I been doing?
I was continuously introduced to the policies in the company especially around data, how data are being stored and updated monthly with new data.
I have also familiarized myself with GDPR policies which guides the organization on how to use data collected
What problems did I encounter?
I haven't had any this month since I've been guided by my colleagues and the director, and I've learned a lot from them that will help me operate professionally in this field in the industry.

How could I have improved my performance?
By keeping up with industry trends and best practices and also attending some webinars, and doing online courses like Introduction to SQL and Database systems, to stay up-to-date with latest development in data management. This will help me identify new opportunities and best practices to improve my organization's data managementstrategy

What have I been doing?
I have been trying to familiarize myself with the company and also learning from other staff members how data administration are been done in the organization.
What problems did I encounter?
I didnt encounter any problem as there was a seamless on boarding into the organization.

By learning and continuous practice of courses related to data administration and also keeping in mind the working terms and conditions of my organization.
