According to the case study i choose The research environment where Geoffrey and Annie chose to share contexts that are complicated and complex. Which i think is allocated to the Mixed methords.

Evidence Informed Practice (EIP) is using evidence to design, implement and improve the programs and interventions. The evidence can be research evidence done through lived experience and client voice (McCracken & Marsh, 2007). The three different method are:

Qualitative data includes words, opinions, thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

Quantitative data is numbers and statistics.

Mixed methods: It is a methods of mixed of both quantitative and qualitative methods to obtain a conclusion for study. its is likely to utilize serveral data collection practice and analyse processes which are appropriate for both quantitative and qualitative approaches.

Mixed methods research can most easily be identified if following information are present

Collection and analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data

Integration of the data during the collection process

Theoretical model(s) serving as a research framework

After reading List of 14 Soft Skills through (Gilbert et al. 2017) step by step I feel that I am one of them. I am Decision-making and Resilience. I have mad a decision making process when I was working there was a group tour for the employee. We all were planning for the place to visit according to the work situation to do some research about the historical place. during the discussion session only few of the people were present so we needed to make a decision where are we going and how are we going to stay for a few days. The final plan was made so we can go according to the plan. although the decision was made although if there is an alternative point from another member that would be anlaysis but I decision was final and all the people in the session agreed with that. Resilience I am someone who cannot handle being demotivated from other people. That had happen many time during class time. During one of the course there was point about the girl week than boys which i totally disagree on that and explain them in full ways there are different was were girls are strong and some boys are week on. where i remain calm and in control even under pressure; later on i did handle the situation in a constructive manner rather than becoming defensive. from all this topic I learn where I need to understand the situation and speak my works. Every time I cannot be right. We need to listen to others and find out what is right and wrong

Self-care is essential for maintaining and promoting overall well-being, both physically and mentally in order to prevent burnout, improve productivity and having a balanced life.

How to engage in Self-Care?

If I ever stressed out with my current job in Nursing home working in a dementia unit, I would firstly approach to admin and share my story of how its affecting my mental health. I would also consider taking a leave for a week or two to rejuvenate and be back with full energy. If that doesn't work, I will talk to my friends and family to get a support. I would also consider requesting manager to change the floor and send me to some different floor in a different setting for a change and feel better. Even if that doest help, I will seek professional help such as counsellor or psychologist to help me guide during my worst time.

Personal self-care plan

I will work on what makes me happy by spending time to myself by myself. I will focus on positivity and maintaining good vibes around me. I will also take care of my skin, house and diet. I will make to-do-list to get sorted out my problems and deal one at a time. I will explore nature and practice mediation, do some exercises, join yoga classes and reward myself with the gifts. I will make friends and start to socialise and go out for dinner. I will also read some good books and quotes to motivate and uplift my mood. I will think positive, have positive affirmation and stop ruminating bad talks to myself to take care of my wellbeing.

That is true Kezang, Working in a nursing home in a dementia unit. Sometimes it can be in the street full some days. Sometimes we really need to rely on ourselves and look after ourselves. Being an international student some time there will be alot of stressful situations so there are lots of option which can refresh our moods. So, the way and opitions you have choose are great. rewarding gift by ourself is the best I belive. We always need to work with the positive vibes. There are lots of negative vibes around that we need to forget about that and get moves with our best lives.
