About
This assessment must be completed within your existing group. Individual work submissions will not be accepted.
This document only contains the description of assignment tasks. To see the due date and submit the work, please go to the separate Turnitin submission page in the same folder as this document.
In this assignment, your team continues with the full implementation of the data analytics methodology proposed by your team in the previousGroup Project Presentation. The implementation should address the project objective that your teamaims for(refer to theProject and Data Briefdocument) and be in accordance with yourGroup Project Plan.
To pass, you must at least address theessentialobjective. However, to be considered for a higher grade (D or HD) your team must address both theessentialanddesirableobjectives of the project (see the Project and Data Brief).
Tasks
What you do in this assessment is dictated by:
The objectives set out in the Project and Data Brief document
The scope of work outlined in your Group Project Plan
The methodology proposed in your Group Project Presentation
Any change or improvement to the methodology is permitted at this stage but must be explained and justified in this report.
Specifically, your instructor is looking for demonstrable evidence of mastery of data analytics and data visualisation topics that are taught throughout this semester (except Week 12). Although there are plentiful machine learning models available in Python libraries, it is preferred that you use the models taught in this unit to produce well-articulated and in-depth analyses.
Individualteam members must demonstrate competencies in Python programming to obtain a passing grade in this assessment. If in doubt, your instructor may conduct further investigations.
The main deliverable is a written report that needs to have the followingbasicstructure:
Title page, table of contents, and list of figures
Problems
Methods
Results
Discussions
Conclusion
List of references
Brief descriptions of individual contributions
Grading
Unless stated otherwise in your Group Project Plan, all members equally share the grade for this assignment. Your instructor reserves the right to differentiate individual grades where appropriate.
The design of this assignment's marking rubric incorporates elements of the existing rubric used by Carnegie Mellon University.
Submissions
Submit this assignment using the separate Turnitin submission link in the same folder as this assignment description.
Submit your workno later thanthe stated due date of this assignment (see the Turnitin submission page for the due date).
1 group report per team. The report must be in a Microsoft Word file (.docx) and not exceed 8,000 words (A4, single-spaced, single-column, 11pt font),excludingthe title page, table of contents, list of figures, and list of references. There is no minimum length to the report. Do not submit multiple documents.
(optional) appendices to accompany the report. Submit this as a separate document.

About
This assessment must be completed within your existing group. Individual work submissions will not be accepted.
Your team must propose a data analytic methodology that addresses the client's project objective as described in the providedProject and Data Briefdocument. The proposed methodology must befullyimplemented inAssessment 4 (Group Project Report),although preliminary results may be presented in this Presentation.
Bottom of Form
Top of Form
Tasks
Your team must deliver a group presentation in front of the examiner.
The presentation must propose a data analytics methodology to address the project objectives you identified earlier when drafting the Group Project Plan. Methodology refers to a systematic, stepwise approach that utilises analytic techniques and algorithms taught in this unit.
Additional algorithms not taught in this unit are not essential for passing this assignment. However, they may be incorporated into the proposed methodology only afterincludingthe taught algorithms and may help achieve higher grades. To be further considered for a higher grade (D or HD), you must also produce useful preliminary analytics results (using any method learned in Weeks 1 - 6).
Like most real data science projects, we may expect a presentation of diverse approaches to address the project objective. No two teams are likely to produce identical proposals and/or results.
For more detailed requirements of this assignment, please see the marking rubric.

About
This assessment should be completed in a group of 4 students. Individual submissions will not be accepted.
This assessment requires that your team work together to produce a data analytics Project Plan. Before going further, you must have completed the group formation steps and read theProject and Data Briefdocument.
Bottom of Form
Top of Form
Tasks
In your group, please develop and submit a Project Plan. Essentially, the Plan describes what your team needs to do to accomplish the project objectives outlined in theProject and Data Briefdocument. To be complete, the Plan must be signed by each team member and will serve as the group contract that governs the conduct and performance of all team members throughout this semester.
Content
A. Problem restatement and scope
This section must demonstrate your team's understanding of the project objectives' contexts, motivations, pain points, priorities, and the desired practical outcomes. Clearly state what your team will and will not do for this project. You must restate the project objectives in the form of high-level data analytics tasks, with appropriate justifications.
Expect to do some independent research and readings here.Simply copying the project objectives from the Project and Data Brief document will not earn your team any points.
B. Terms and conditions of group work
We look for evidence that your team is capable of working collaboratively, professionally, and ethically. For this section, your team must discuss, agree, and put in writing the terms and conditions for working as a team. These may include but are not limited to how grades should be awarded to each member, how and when to communicate, what tasks individuals are responsible for, how to anticipate diverse ways of working, how constructively resolve conflicts within groups, and how to ensure the submitted work does not breach the University's academic integrity policies.
C. Milestones and checkpoints
This section includes provisional milestones and checkpoints to complete the project.
Originality
This submission is checked against plagiarism using SafeAssign.
Your writing must be original. Please do not use words that are not yours. Violating this requirement may constitute a serious breach of academic integrity and the plagiarised content will not be assessed.
Format
Please use the template below as the starting point of your project plan. You should then continue by adding more pages.
The format and layout of page 1 mustnotchange. You are free to format the rest of the additional pages. Use the standard font Calibri, size (11pt), with single-line space.
