ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS

For this assignment, you will prepare a report that describes the current state of an organization's big data and identify potential business problems or business decisions that will benefit from data-driven decision making. Next, you should describe what value a Big Data initiative will bring to the organization. Lastly, you will outline what data types and data sources you will use to implement your initiative.

You may select your current workplace or an organization that has some significance to you. If you are not currently associated with a workplace or organization, you may select one that you are interested in or one that has been reported recently in the media.

You may organize your plan in a manner that best describes your plan. However, you should include the following criteria:
