You will also explore different responses to these issues. including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and altemative approaches that will be discussed in the unit. Based on your critical analysis Of these different you will develop a position on the kind Of transformations,
or changes, needed to respond to the issue you have chosen to research. By developing your essay, you will also develop your research skills, criti121 thinking, and academic writing, all essential skills for studies.
Essay question
Write a research essay on the transformations needed to address a global issue or set Of global issues facing your country, or another country you are interested in. The essay should present a clear position on the transformations, supported by critical analyses of at least one of the Six Transformations to achieve the Sustainable Goals (SDGs), at least 2 SDGs, and one alternative approach.
HOW TO SUBMIT
Submit through the submission point in the LMS by the due date.
HOW IT IS ASSESSED (summary)
You will be assessed on these key criteria:
- Critical Analysis
- Argument development
- Use Of sources
- Writing proficiency
The assessment includes a moderation process to ensure reliable, just, and fair outcomes.

Each group member should present on one of the following aspects of the alternative:

- Values and principles
- Transformative potential for complex global issues
- Criticisms
