Assessment 1 - Presentation - preliminary survey of literature

Each student will provide a 5-10minute presentation during a group meeting. The purpose of the presentation is to provide the opportunity for you to articulate a convincing argument for conducting a literature review on your chosen topic area and to support this argument with the outcomes of your preliminary literature survey.

**choose a journal you would like the final assessment (research) to be published (the word count for the final write-up will depend on the Journals criteria/ style ie. APA or Harvard and justify why you chose that Journal)

** 5 slides

**include what needs to be presented in the notes

**use 3 databases (pubmed, medline, cinarl, psychinfo, scopus, etc for articles and use Endnote Library or use excel sheet (take pictures to use in the slides- search terms, number of articles/ search duplicates and inclusion and exclusion criteria)

**take pictures of the screen when you search for articles on different databases to show the number of hits on the articles

**use raw data only- choose primary systematic reviews (past 5 years)
