Task Description
For this task you need to write a 1000-word report. The report will provide ashort descriptionof a major health issue in a population of your choice and offer anin-depthanalysis of why you consider it to be a health-related human rights issue. This is anindividualtask.

How to Guide
Step 1: Identify a population within a nation/ state: For example: men in India, Rohingya in Bangladesh, mothers in Ethiopia, the elderly in Australia.
Step 2: Identify the most pressing health issues affecting this population. Choose at least 3.
Step 3. Choose one health issue.
Step 4: Identify the determinants of this health issue.
Step 5: Analyse how the determinants of this health issue is related to equity and human rights. You may want to focus on a major determinant such as food insecurity resulting in malnutrition. Please mention the other determinants so that your issue is well contextualised.
Use the following as a guide to structure your report.
Introduction
Introduce the topic and the population you have chosen, provide an outline or signpost the sections of the report and note the main conclusion/s.
Background
Set the context (historical, cultural, economic) for this population and describe the population. You may consider issues of power, social structure, equity, or conflict.
Health issue
Outline the major health issues for this population.
Choose one health issue and discuss its determinants and justify your choice using academic and grey literature to justify your choice.
Human rights issues
Analyse how the identified health issue is related to equity and human rights.
Specify whether any human rights are being violated or any that are not being addressed, and refer to relevant literature, including human rights documents, to support your claim.
Analyse the human rights context. Has the country signed or ratified any relevant human rights documents? Are there any human rights violations? Is the country in a position to address these issues? What are some recommendations that you suggest the state can make/ needs to consider to improve the health-related human right?
Conclusion
Summarise the findings of the report, noting the most important evidence/support.
Highlight the significance of your findings or conclusions and any broader implications.
