Instructions
The purpose of this assessment is that students demonstrate their ability to identify and critique literature regarding a specific health promotion issue in order to design a health promotion project. Students will provide a general description of three health promotion programs that aim to reduce SMOKING or VAPING and design a basic health promotion plan to implement one of these interventions.
Locate three articles that provide a description of evidenced based health promotioninterventionsrelating to the health issue above and consider the strengths and weaknesses of those health promotion interventions and global differences in implementing those interventions.

Use the following headings (word limits are approximate):
Introduction (150 words)(What is this review about?) Presentation of the topic: provides a clear and concise introduction of the topic being reviewed and why it is an important topic to review.
Literature search methods (100 words)brief overview, include databases searched, Keywords used, limiters applied and number of articles located. Include an example of your keyword search using Boolean operators. Provide a brief explanation for your choice of limiters.
Results (600 words)(overview of the 3 chosen health promotion intervention articles only).
Overview of the health promotion project: what did they do? include design, method, results, recommendations, evaluation
Provide analysis of health promotion project strengths/weaknesses. Describe relationship to the Ottawa charter, WHO priorities, SDGs etc
Discussion (600 words)Describe how you would implementoneof these projects in a community of your choice.
Describe the community including some basic statistics.
Describe how you would use a specific behaviour change model in your design.
Describe how you would ensure community participation.
Describe how you would evaluate the effectiveness of your program.
