Task description

For this task you will analyse a case study of a participant living in shared supported accommodation from a short video and functional behaviour assessment. Your analysis will take place within a group of four learners using tools and frameworks identified in Modules 1 3. You will then be required to submit an individual report summarising your analysis.

In your group analysis, you will consider:

  • The biological, psychosocial, and environmental factors that pre-dispose, precipitate and maintain the behaviours of concern
  • An evaluation of approach described and observed against the frameworks of positive behaviour support and capable environments
  • Opportunities to strengthen the quality of life and improve the environment for the participant according to evidence informed approaches
  • An approach to measuring any improvements identified.
