Can I use first person?
Yes, but use a formal academic tone
What should I know about referencing?
You should make use of a minimum of 8 references. At least 6 of these references should be scholarly sources
You can use any referencing style as long as you are consistent, but I suggest either APA / Harvard

Can I sit on the fence or play devils advocate?
No fence sitting! You need to provide a clear argument and solution(s).
What do I need to know about subheadings?
They are useful to guide your marker and create structure to your argument
They do not count towards your word counts
How do I structure the case study?
The instructions provided suggest that you can conduct this analysis separately or juxtapose both theories throughout the structure of the paper. Although students have choice in how they ultimately structure their analysis.
What do I write about stakeholders?
Name andjustifythe inclusion of these stakeholders you reference in the case study and explain how the course of actions you will/ are considering taking affect the stakeholders.
How do I position myself in the case study?
Write from the location/position you feel most comfortable with. But be consistent.
What theories do I choose?
Some theories seem like a natural fit for a case study but dont feel that you have to choose these. Remember to justify why you have chosen the theories, and consider their weaknesses and strengths in relation to each case study.Remember you should always be building a case to argue for the solution you have chosen.
